"Pippa," roughly 6" square on a 9" x 12" paper, commissioned portrait of a Brittany Spaniel, not for sale.
I grew up with Brittanys, and spent today remembering Beau, my first dog. Every so often I feel his head at my knee, nudging me forward when I'm most afraid. Even though he's been gone for 22 years, he knows when I need him.
In process views of "Pippa" were shared on the studio Facebook page. You can find them inside the Mobile Uploads folder. And by the way, you do not need to have a Facebook account to view either of those links.
I'd love to talk about creating spectacular original art for you - email me and we can talk.

And in case you didn't see it, a little doodle of him is also available for sale here . Inquires may come directly to me . I wanted to work with spring-like colors today, and this little guy was still on my mind , so I grabbed a small panel and got to work. Of course, I also have Poppy to finish and some changes to make to another po
Wow, Pippa looks like a sweetie! Beautiful!

DeleteYes, I am. The adoration is mutual. Maybe at one of the art exhibits we will meet. Looking forward.
DeleteWe have a mutual art crush!! I do hope to meet you one day - I have always loved your landscapes. They have such bold swaths of form and your color sensibility is spot on. Until our paths cross, Julienne, happy painting!!!
